The Karda is the traditional companion to the Khukuri. You will find one neatly tucked in the sheath behind nearly every khukuri you come across. More often than not, though, they are too small to be very useful. In the spirit of the bent-blade, I have set out to design Kardas that, for me, would be more practical for every-day use and carry. As I make a new model, it gets a new number..starting with the K1 Karda, and so on.

My preference for blade steels is O1. At present I am experimenting with 13C26.

The handles can be made of silk cord wrap, paracord wrap, stabilized wood or synthetics - your choice.
