Jewel

This knife is a collaboration with Clint Chisan of Alberta, Canada. I designed the blade, Clint made the damascus, forged and ground the blade to shape. I customized the shape further (adding/deepening choils) and added the handle.

The design was inspired by the Khukuri and the desire was to make a large EDC (Every Day Carry) hunting knife that would be both practical and beautiful.

The blade is available in either Damascus and 5160 steel, with your choice of handle material.

The Damascus used for Jewel was 300+ layers of 1084, 15N20 and pure Nickel. The handle is stabilized and dyed giraffe bone with spacers; pins are brass.
